About Me
Hi! I’m Yasmin Sophia, the artist and founder of Dotted Sophia. I’m 29 (holding off the big 3–0 just a little longer!) and I run my little studio in Manchester, UK, with plenty of love and support from my family and friends. 💕
My Story
Art has always been the centre of my world. Since I was little, I’ve been painting, drawing and crafting—anything that let me play with colours and ideas. For the past five years, I’ve worked as Head of Art at a local high school, inspiring pupils to enjoy the process of making. I’ve also been lucky to work with the wider Manchester community, using art and craft as a way to support wellbeing and mindfulness.
Now, I’ve poured all that passion into Dotted Sophia—a place where people all over the world can discover the joy of painting, whether as a mindful hobby or as a fun way to bring friends together.

Every single kit I make starts with my own artwork. Unlike shop-bought kits that often look generic, I carefully design each piece to be cute, stylish and home decor friendly—something you’ll be proud to hang on your wall once it’s complete.
And don’t worry if you’re “not an artist”—that’s the beauty of it! Unlike traditional paint-and-sip evenings (where your friend’s elephant might end up looking more like a potato 🐘🥔), my kits give you everything you need to succeed:

Handmade With Love
From start to finish, every kit is made by me. I design the outlines, mix the paints, print the canvas, and package it all with care in my little Manchester studio. Because everything is done by hand, I can also create custom kits from your photos or ideas, making them truly personal.
